Christ The King

An independent Lutheran fellowship

Join us in weekly worship starting May 31, 2026.

A spacious church interior with wooden pews leading towards the altar. There are tall walls with modern design and a large cross hanging at the center. Soft light filters through narrow stained glass windows on the sides, creating patches of colored illumination. The altar area is minimally decorated with religious symbols, and the atmosphere is serene and contemplative.

Our Worship

Sunlight filters through tall stained glass windows, casting rays of light across a serene church interior. A large wooden cross is mounted prominently on the wall, illuminated by the natural light. Elegant candlesticks and plants are arranged near the altar, contributing to the peaceful atmosphere.

Join us Sundays at 11am ET/10am CT for reverent, historic liturgical worship – beginning May 31, 2026.

A black and white image captures a religious service inside a church. The scene is viewed through an arched stone structure, focusing on the altar where two clergy members stand. The altar is adorned with candles and a floral arrangement, and is surrounded by a congregation seated on pews.

We faithfully offer the means of grace and administer the Sacraments according to historic Lutheran tradition.

A red brick church with a pointed tower topped with a cross is situated among tall evergreen trees. The foreground includes a street with a traffic light and signage, contributing to a serene, small-town atmosphere.

We subscribe to the 1580 Book of Concord, as a faithful exposition of Holy Scripture.

About Us

Rooted in tradition, we faithfully share the pure Gospel, celebrate the Sacraments and worship using the historic Lutheran liturgy every week. We worship using The Lutheran Hymnal from 1941, we teach from the 1943 edition of Luther’s Small Catechism. Worship is participatory, and much of it is sung or chanted.

There is much beauty in orthodox liturgical worship. We welcome you to come and experience it for yourself.

Sunlight filters through a stained glass window, casting colorful reflections on the stone walls and wooden benches of a dimly lit church interior. The architecture features pointed arches and thick stonework, contributing to an atmosphere of reverence and tranquility.

Why independent?

We are a small, independent Lutheran church in order to remain faithful to the doctrine of the Bible and the Book of Concord without the leaven of entanglements and political machinations of other church bodies that often accompany their false doctrines and faithless practices.
